The 2016 Sanford Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir is a blend of fruit from our two estate vineyards: the historic Sanford and Benedict Vineyard (51%) and La Rinconada (49%). Both of these stellar vineyards are in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills. A wide range of Pinot clones are planted on these sites, and our 2016 is a blend of 6 of these from different soil types. 2016 was a warm dry year, with low yields resulting in concentrated, well-structured and balanced wines.
