Trockenbeerenauslese (“dried berries selection”) comes from grapes that have been affected by noble rot, which allows the grapes to dry out completely, shriveling like raisins. The resulting wines are complex and rich. This Welschriesling TBA has delicate stone fruit characters over subtle dried fruit aromas. Highly mineral notes on the palate mingle with the taste of ripe honeydew followed by a very long, refreshing finish accented by fresh stone fruit and hints of saltiness.
