Brandlin

Brandlin is about one thing: producing a single, mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, which captures the unique character of a truly historic Mount Veeder estate. With a vineyard as remarkable as Brandlin, greatness is that simple.

The Brandlin family has more than a century of experience growing grapes on Mount Veeder, located in the southern Mayacamas Mountains in Napa Valley. This exquisite vineyard was first planted by the family in 1926 and throughout the years the Brandlin’s philosophy on growing grapes remained consistent and simple: Farm the steep and rugged land by hand, and nurture the soil by farming sustainably. The Brandlin family farmed the vineyard for more than 70 years, before Cuvaison Estate Wines bought the property in 1998.

Cuvaison has respectfully maintained the integrity of the estate and has upheld the Brandlin philosophy by only planting a small portion of the 170-acre site. In addition, all of the 100% estate-grown fruit is still worked entirely by hand, from pruning through harvesting and table sorting. By carefully maintaining the integrity of the fruit through the entire farming process, the winery remains committed to producing the finest quality wine by any means necessary.

The majestic Mount Veeder location, combined with the historic and unique farming philosophy of the Brandlin family, produces a sophisticated and captivating Cabernet Sauvignon. This full-bodied wine, with its aromas of cinnamon, clove and black currant, will leave a lasting and elegant impression.
