Sauvignon Blanc: Key Benefits

Wairau River’s Sauvignon Blanc has fruit-forward taste, intense flavor and mineral characteristics, as well as structure and complexity that are not common in New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs. Contributing to these characteristics are the region’s long growing season and slow ripening, the vineyards’ ancient riverbed soil, and Wairau River’s exacting vineyard management practices of only harvesting at the very peak of flavor and maturity.

  • Classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
  • Consistent style
  • Fresh tropical nose
  • Low cropped vines
  • Very ripe fruit
  • Crisp dry finish
