The famed International Pinot Noir Celebration in McMinnville, Oregon, featured a departure from form in 2007 – a seminar dedicated to sparkling wines. Two masters of the genre, Rollin Soles of Argyle Winery and Ghislain de Montgolfier of Champagne Bollinger, discussed the role Pinot Noir plays in their wines. In the process, they gave insight into the precision and passion it takes to create great sparkling wines, whether in the Willamette or in Champagne, and demonstrated why they and their wines have earned such high regard. We invite you to enjoy their presentation below.
